It all Started with a Big Yellow book.
When I started thinking about this, I thought to myself that no company is going to go out of their way to make the lives of their customers more difficult. What do they stand to benefit from this?
However, it made me recall a recent experience I have with a big brand “marketing” company, who promised me the earth, utterly failed to deliver and then made my life a misery afterwards. Not to mention costing me a fortune for the privilege.
I won’t name this company directly, but they are a far cry from the days when they used to publish that big yellow business directory, that used to sit by the telephone in every house in the UK.
They made my experience with them a total hassle, and as a result I will be leaving them, as soon as my contract ends.
They say that every cloud has a silver lining. This experience made me very passionate about my vision. I wanted our customers to enjoy their experience with Hipposerve. I wanted them to know that if they needed help we would be there for them, ready to go above and beyond. The first thing we wanted to make our website as non-techie as possible. True we have to include some technical details so you can compare our services with others. But we are rolling out our “Hassle Free Mode” on our website, so you can toggle between plain english and the technical details!

We don’t just sell and go. Once you have your web space we don’t just leave you to it. We have our Hippo Helpers, ready and waiting to get you started, so you can make the most out of your new hosting plan. We will even schedule a 45 minute Zoom meeting with you, to go through our control panel to explain the basic features and answer any questions that you may have.
3) Long Term Support
Our team is also well aware that you don’t just run into problems in when you are first getting set up. We know that problems can arise from website updates or even worse a malicious attack. We will be there to support you with that too and be on hand to offer advice on backup / security solutions.
4) FREE Migration Service
If you are moving from another provider to Hipposerve, we offer a free and comprehensive migration service. We will work with you to form a migration plan, and choose the best time to make the switch.
5) Hard Sell Free Zone
Finally, we will never hard sell any of our services and solutions. From time to time, we may send you details of products that may benefit you, but one thing we won’t do is sell you something you don’t need.
